Amanda Samuels
Co-Founder & Principal Lawyer
Amanda practices corporate and commercial law. As a corporate lawyer at a leading Bay Street firm, she worked on complex financings and capital markets transactions, from large infrastructure financings to public offerings and private placements. Before that, she worked in investment banking, covering banks, asset managers, and financial technology companies.
She holds a JD from Western University and an HBA from the Ivey Business School, graduating with distinction from both.

Jacob Levy
Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor
Jacob is a co-founder of Align Counsel and advises the firm on strategy and growth.
He spent three years in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets, working on M&A and financing transactions across industrials, healthcare, consumer and retail, and telecommunications. He is currently an Associate at Hennick & Company, a private investment firm that invests in consulting, advisory and professional services firms.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University.
