Amanda Samuels

Founder & Principal Lawyer

Amanda founded Align Counsel after gaining experience in corporate law and finance. As a corporate lawyer at a leading Bay Street firm, she worked on complex financings and capital markets transactions, from large infrastructure financings to public offerings and private placements. Before that, she worked in investment banking, covering banks, asset managers, and financial technology companies.

She holds a JD from Western University and an HBA from the Ivey Business School, graduating with distinction from both.

Amanda founded Align Counsel on a simple conviction: high-quality legal advice should be available to the businesses that need it most, not just the ones that can afford Bay Street rates. Align Counsel delivers that calibre of counsel in plain language, at a fixed and predictable cost.
